Home
for Individual

This private residential project was shaped by the constraints of a compact site and the client’s creative lifestyle, resulting in a vertically organized house where workspaces occupy the ground floor and the living areas are elevated to capture open views and greenery. Conceived as two contrasting volumes—a robust, naturally rusting metal base and a warm wooden upper level—the architecture balances industrial character with domestic comfort while blending into its low-rise surroundings through a gabled roof. Sustainability and energy efficiency were key considerations, addressed through solar collection and climate-responsive shading, while the interior continues the architectural concept with an honest use of concrete, metal, and wood, exposed structures, custom metal elements, and carefully considered ergonomics. The result is a highly individual, functional, and expressive home where architecture, interior design, and landscape form a cohesive whole.
